Only through an armed and organized militia will free people stay free. Otherwise, as foretold in history, a corrupt, totalitarian, and tyrannical government prevails. Without such documents like the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution, citizens of the United States would no longer be freemen but slaves of the state. These documents, however, are only as good as those who take the oath to protect them are. The power within these papers, forged by our founding fathers, is exactly what the United States Patriot Movement will protect: God, family, and country. The mission of the men and women within this movement is to ensure that our Constitutional Republic will endure, hence, their mantra, once exclaimed by Patrick Henry, “[…] give me liberty, or give me death!” The belief of this movement is that these three documents is the foundation of the United States, and this foundation is coveted and protected at all costs. Solely, freedom is the bottom line of this Patriot subculture. For example, the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights guarantees freedom of speech and freedom of religion, along with the Second Amendment that guarantees all Americans the right to own and bear arms. Thus, the Patriots believe it is the duty of all American citizens to protect our way of life from international or domestic tyranny. The Patriots themselves, the perception of their movement, and how high profile Patriots are currently taking action is at the forefront of present day political discussion.
As the truth begins to conquer the lies, the Patriot Movement becomes more and more mainstream. The Ron Paul Revolution of the 2008 Presidential Campaign truly changed the whole political climate of our country. Ron Paul, a Republican Congressman from Texas, led the most impressive grassroots presidential campaign of our time, mainly supported by the Patriots. The astounding aspect of the Ron Paul Campaign is that the main public impetus happened on the World Wide Web, for his supporters raised more funds over the Internet in one day than any other candidate, an astounding 20 million dollars. The Patriots have hooked into an avenue where information is paramount, the Internet, known as the information highway. They have now what is known as “Information-Warriors” within the movement. These freedom-loving Patriots are spreading information at a record-breaking speed, via the Internet, through their many blogs and websites. Information is the sleeping giant of this movement, and the Patriots believe the sheeple will awaken, become informed, and then angered when they discover for themselves the deceit and fraud perpetrated by the government they so naively trusted. As Globalization and the New World Order come ever closer to becoming a reality, united the Patriots will stand. These info-warrior Patriots are creating their own network of information and truth on the World Wide Web, where everything can and will go mega viral. When enough people collectively change their minds and become a critical mass that holds an emotional opinion, then the world will witness the truth. Just as the Patriots believe in their truths, the outside perception is not so accepting.
The majority of those who identify with and are a part of the Patriot Movement are not haters or racists, nor are they anti-government, as the corporate media has demonized them to be. They do, however, believe that the corporate media is doing the bidding of the power elite, who are intent on bringing about one world governance. This is why the alternative media, blogs, websites, Internet free radio, and video blogs (vlogs) are so important to the Patriot subculture. The mass media, consisting of newspapers, magazines, TV and radio stations, etc., are in truth corporate propaganda machines. Where these institutions use to be owned by hundreds of different people of different opinions, they are now owned by a handful of Corporations with a handful of opinions. It is a monopoly which includes, AOL Time Warner, The Walt Disney Company, Bertelsmann of Germany, Viacom formally CBS, Rupert Murdock's News Corporation, and NBC owned by General Electric (Bagdikian 2004). This corporate media is tailored to distract the public from the truth, keep the sheeple busy with sports and Hollywood. Everyday, to the credit of these dedicated info-warriors, the alternative media is reaching more and more Americans, and thus, the movement is growing exponentially, much to the horror of the shadow government; the Elite, the Illuminate, the enemy is known by many names within the Patriot subculture. George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four is happening right before our eyes. Big Brother is truly watching and soon will be re-educating. Take heed, be heroic, and join the Patriots before it is too late
There are many modern day heroes within the Patriot subculture. Milton William Cooper, also known as Bill Cooper, one of the most infamous Patriots, as well as an author and lecturer, hosted a short-wave radio program called, The Hour of Our Time. He predicted the tragedy of 9/11 over the radio waves in June of 2001, and then on September 11, 2001 a warrant for his arrest was issued. Shortly after, on November 5, 2001, deputies from the local sheriffs department in Apache County, Arizona gunned him down in his front yard. Alex Jones, is currently one of the loudest and most informative voices in this movement, who originated the information war on the Internet with his websites, documentaries, and radio and TV programs. Alex Jones is also given the credit for starting the 9/11 Truth Movement and is the producer for the documentary, Loose Change, by Dylan Avery and Korey Rowe. This film made by these two young men is the most downloaded movie on the Internet. Another big sound within the Patriot Movement is a worldwide group known as, We Are Change, started by a young man from NYC, Luke Radowski. This group refers to 9/11 as an inside job. After viewing Loose Change, the conclusion is definitely that something not real kosher went down at ground zero on September 11, 2001. Another leader, Jim Marrs, author and lecturer, wrote extensively on the conspiracy the Patriots believe rules the world; his newest book is titled, The Terror Conspiracy. Mark Dice, also another leader, has a book titled, The Resistance Manifesto, which is about the places, the people, and the behaviors of those who secretly control politics, banking, and the media around the world. The Patriot subculture means business, and they are shouting from the rooftops for the entire universe to hear.
The Patriots often witness trouble from the provocateurs that work for the many alphabet soup government agencies that are constantly trying to discredit this American Patriot Movement. The government has forgotten whom they work for; the government exists to serve, and it is not the other way around. The Patriots will not fire the first shot; they will only shoot in self-defense and hope to not be provoked into bloodshed. All the leaders of the Patriot Movement, Ron Paul, Alex Jones, and Mark Dice, all hope and pray that America can resolve her problems within the rule of law. Inside this subculture are many fears; these fears are real and when these subjects are researched, it will be found that these fears are founded in truth. Our water is fluoridated and poisoned, our food is genetically modified and empty of nutrients, our public education has been “dumbed down,” the aids virus was intentionally created and spread to help reduce the population, and abortion and contraception are all about population control. The endgame of the elite is to cull the populous. It seems the deeper it goes, the worse it gets. Deep within, the world power elite is destroying the great U.S.A. with lies and deception. The banking debacle this past fall is a perfect example of the nefarious lengths the New World Order will go to in order to bring America to her knees. These and many more are the concerns of those in the Patriot Movement. The Patriots, who far out number those that rule, believe that their strength is in sticking together. Not all Patriots agree on everything within the movement, but they do all agree on one thing, freedom and the law under the constitution and their beloved Republic.
